aeda connect

Financial interoperability infrastructure

The orchestration layer for borderless money movement

Connect to modern payment rails for faster, lower-cost cross-border transfers through one API.

What is aeda

Software only.
Licensed partners move the money

aeda connects the systems of licensed banks and payment providers through one cross-border software layer. It holds no funds, takes no FX position, executes no payments and does not compete with its partners.

Non-custodial by design

No customer funds, balances or client accounts exist on aeda’s side of the chain.

Technology, not a financial service

Every regulated act belongs to the licensed institution that performs it.

One integration

Local currency in, EUR into a bank account. Built for regulated institutions.

    Who it’s for

Built for institutions that already hold the licence

The corridor is sold to a licensed financial institution and delivered to that institution’s own customers.

    01

    Banks

Reach markets your correspondent network does not serve, without adding a correspondent. Your customer and your pricing stay yours.

    02

    Payment institutions

Add an origin market to an existing authorisation without adding a separate partner, contract and integration for each one.

    03

    Licensed fintechs

Put a European transfer inside an app that already has the customer, in weeks of integration rather than quarters of sourcing.

    04

    Payment service providers

Offer cross-border payouts to the institutions you serve with each regulated step performed by the licensed institution responsible for it.

On the payout side, European banks and licensed providers can partner on payout or settlement for a corridor. Talk to us

    EUR payout to SEPA-reachable IBANs

Recipients receive EUR in bank accounts whose IBANs are reachable through the relevant SEPA payout rail. Reachability depends on the receiving bank and provider configuration — EU membership alone does not establish it.

Origin-market availability, supported destination countries, limits and delivery times are confirmed before launch and may differ by corridor, provider and receiving bank.

    Your customers

    What they actually receive

The corridor is delivered to the retail and business customers of the institution that integrates it.

    Individuals

Retail customers of the partner institution, making transfers from an EECA market to a European bank account.

    • Send from the partner app in local currency, at the partner’s own quoted rate
    • Recipient identity and account are verified by the European provider through a secure link
    • No digital-asset knowledge and no app needed: the recipient is paid in EUR into their own bank account

Available today under the current partner configuration.

    Businesses

Business customers of the partner institution, paying suppliers, contractors and staff in Europe.

    • Pay into the same SEPA-reachable IBANs, through the same single endpoint
    • Stable client references on every transfer, for the business’s own ledger
    • Repeat beneficiaries handled through the verified-recipient path
    • One daily reconciliation file covering the whole chain
    • The partner sets the corporate price and keeps the commercial relationship

Business customers are coming soon. Corridors, limits and eligibility are confirmed before launch and may differ from the retail configuration.

    Why institutions choose it

Four reasons, none of them technical

The questions a payments executive actually asks before moving off what they already have.

    01

Keep your brand, pricing and customer

Your customers start transfers in your application, under your brand and your pricing, and you own the relationship. Recipients verify and confirm payout through a secure web page, with no app to install.

    02

    Clear responsibilities before launch

Every regulated act is mapped to the licensed institution responsible for it. Your legal and compliance teams review the structure against your permissions and jurisdiction before launch.

    03

Responsibility is written down, not implied

Each step is attributed to the institution that performs it, in a form your risk committee can read rather than take on trust.

    04

Get evidence and reconciliation as standard

Transfer status, the evidence behind each state, and a daily reconciliation file for the whole chain — the records your operations and finance teams need to trace any transfer and identify reconciliation breaks.

Infrastructure and technology providers in the aeda connect operating chain. Scope and availability are confirmed for each partner during scoping.

    FAQ

    straight answers

What a buying committee asks before the first call.

    Commercial

Why not build these connections ourselves?

Building it yourself means sourcing, contracting and integrating licensed providers in each market, then running conversion, payout and reconciliation for every corridor. With aeda connect you integrate once; each new corridor is added as configuration once licensed providers are contracted at both ends.

    How is it priced?

A wholesale price per transfer, agreed in the partner contract during scoping. Your institution sets and keeps its own customer price and foreign-exchange margin.

Why is it cheaper than correspondent banking?

The route does not pass through correspondent banks, where per-hop charges arise. The benchmark is the bank channel’s global average total cost of 14.99% on a USD 200 transfer (World Bank, Remittance Prices Worldwide, Issue 54, Q3 2025).

    Legal and compliance

Does aeda hold customer funds or crypto-assets?

No. aeda never enters into possession of the funds or crypto-assets transferred, holds no private keys and cannot sign or compel a movement of value.

Who performs KYC, AML and sanctions screening?

Each licensed institution in the chain, in its own jurisdiction and under its own policies. aeda performs no KYC, AML, sanctions or transaction screening.

    Does integrating change our licence?

The corridor is designed so that every regulated act stays with the licensed institution responsible for it. Your counsel confirms how this applies to your permissions and jurisdiction during diligence.
