aeda connect

How it works

One transfer, clearly separated responsibilities

The origin-market partner owns the sender relationship. Licensed providers perform the regulated conversions, verification and payout. aeda connect coordinates the states, data and evidence between them.

The journey

Local currency in. Local currency out

Five stages. Licensed providers perform every regulated step; aeda connect coordinates them.

  1. 01

    Local currency

    Funds enter on local rails

The sender funds the transfer in the local currency supported by the origin partner.

  2. 02

    Licensed on-ramp

    Fiat becomes settlement value

A licensed provider performs the regulated conversion under its own controls.

  3. 03

    Blockchain

    Value crosses the corridor

The settlement moves across blockchain rails, coordinated through aeda connect.

  4. 04

    Licensed off-ramp

    Settlement becomes local currency

A licensed provider performs the regulated conversion for payout.

  5. 05

    Recipient’s bank

    Payout reaches the recipient

The payout arrives in the recipient’s own bank account. Live today: EUR to eligible IBANs through SEPA or SEPA Instant.

Responsibility model

Every regulated decision stays with a licensed party

aeda connect coordinates the corridor. It takes no custody of customer value or private keys, and performs none of the regulated acts.

01

No custody

aeda does not receive or hold local currency, EUR or the settlement asset.

02

No signing authority

aeda holds no customer private keys and cannot sign or compel a movement of value.

03

Independent decisions

Identity, screening, settlement acceptance and payout decisions remain with licensed providers.

04

Auditable state

Every transition carries a timestamp, provider reference and machine-readable outcome.

aeda does not receive identity documents or biometrics. Diligence material is shared after qualification.

Failure and refund

Checks happen before settlement is funded

If a required pre-settlement check fails, the transfer follows the distribution partner’s refund process. Once settlement to the recipient is confirmed, it cannot be pulled back by the sender or any party in the chain.

01

Pre-settlement gate

Identity and bank-account checks are completed before settlement is funded, not after.

02

Partner-owned refund

A pre-settlement failure follows the distribution partner’s refund process and the relevant provider’s terms.

03

Final once confirmed

Once settlement to the recipient is confirmed, it cannot be reversed by the sender or any party in the chain.

The full state model, exception handling and refund logic are shared during diligence under the appropriate confidentiality terms rather than published here.
